ABOUT YOUR SESSION:

How to Book Your Portrait Session…

Please take a few moments to browse our galleries to become familiar with our work before you call so you can let us know what appeals the most to you. To book a consultation appointment, simply email us (on the contact page), or call us at 816.258.1973.  A consultation about your session will take about 15 mins.  We discuss the type of session you are looking for, clothing, props desired, go over our product line and pricing, and how it will fit into the decor of your home.  If you wish to make an appointment at that time for a session, we require your session fee as a deposit.

How to Dress for your Session…

We strongly recommend that you share with us, in advance, what you plan to wear. Clothing is one of the main components in creating a stunning portrait of yourselves. It is essential that your clothing co-ordinates.

We will take as much time as we feel necessary to get the variety of images we know you’ll want. Sessions are generally 45-60 mins.

What to Wear…

White or pastel colors are perfect for lighter backgrounds. Casual outfits in earth tones work best for outdoor photographs. Middle tones or deeper solid colors are ideal for formal portraits.

Avoid large prints or patterns that distract from your face. Choose long-sleeved shirts or sweaters rather than short-sleeved.

Hair… Plan to wear your hair in a style you’re comfortable with. Avoid new cuts or styles.

Glasses…If you wear them, it’s best to remove the lenses from the glasses. Lens glare cannot always be retouched.

For Girls… Keep your make-up natural and fresh.

For Guys… a fresh shave is a must! If you have a beard or mustache, make sure it’s neatly trimmed.

Viewing Your Images… We will arrange a time and place suitable to view the images.  Show And Tell Photos does not supply printed proofs for you to take home. We can upload any purchased portraits to your Facebook for you to share with your friends, free of charge.

Terms and Policies: Your session fee is non-refundable. If you cannot keep your original scheduled appointment, we will re-schedule you for another date or apply your session fee towards a future session.

All clients are asked to sign a model release form at the time of their session. Show And Tell Photos reserves the right to use all images and/or reproductions for display, publication, or other marketing purposes. All images are protected by Federal Copyright Laws and are not to be reproduced in any manner without permission.
